The Research Group of Neuroradiology (both diagnostic and interventional) has been founded under the instigation of Professor Georges Salamon during the meeting of the delegates of the Research Groups of the WFN held in Buenos Aires in October 15, 1995, under the presidency of Lord Walton of Detchant, President of the World Federation of Neurology (WFN), K. Poeck, first Vice-President and Chairman of the Research Committee and F. Clifford-Rose, Secretary General.
